PSE research group UGM is research group at Gadjah Mada University whose mission would like to bring the cutting-edge methods for all aspects of design, operation, control and the planning of distribution for process industries

Research program of this research group:

1.  Process modeling and optimization

This research includes:

     a. Modeling, dynamic simulation

     b. Optimization (real-time, dynamic, multi objective & fuzzy optimizations, and planning & scheduling)

2.   Process synthesis and integration

This research includes:

      a. Optimal synthesis and retrofit of heat exchanger network
      b. Integration of energy and steam power system
      c. Synthesis, retrofit and revamp of distillation system

3.   Natural resources-industrial system engineering

This is a new developed intercross subject of utilization of Indonesian natural resources and process system engineering. Process modeling, optimization, synthesis and integration technologies and methods are applied to a series of interrelated chemical industrial and natural resources to build natural resources-industrial park for minimizing energy consumption and maximizing energy recovery.

PSE research group has a management consisting of the main researcher (coordinator and members), researchers (students S1, S2 and S3) and the board of experts from the fields of chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, agricultural technology, medicine, chemistry and physics.
